Insurance Reimbursement

At RMT it is our current policy that we do not accept insurance cards nor do we bill insurance companies directly for payment of services.  Our experience has been that while some insurance companies will reimburse many medical doctors, hospitals, physical therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and some other healthcare providers directly, they usually exclude independent massage therapy practices, such as ours, from this list. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider before arriving for your appointment to determine if they will reimburse you for massage therapy, acupuncture or manual lymphatic drainage services as each insurance provider has different policies regarding reimbursement for these services. 

We require all clients to self pay in full for services received even when such has been prescribed by their healthcare provider.  We will provide an invoice on company letter head which lists the services that were provided during your appointment, if you request one.  You can submit this invoice directly to your insurance company, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) provider, Health Spending Account (HSA) provider, or Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA) for reimbursement. 

To expedite your checkout, please inform us of this request when you call to schedule your appointment or as soon as you arrive at our office for service.
